Volunteers deployed for Swachh Jatara
As part of Swachh Medaram and Swachh Jatara, the Telangana State Pollution Control Board (TSPCB) deployed 300 volunteers at Medaram on Tuesday. The advice was given by T Radhika, TSPCB, who’s organizing the tasks at Medaram Jatara, Job officer.
The volunteers will likely be involved in propagating the message of not to make use of plastic plates, plastic glasses, the polyethylene bags, spoons and other things that are extraneous. From local teams in Medaram, who’ve been constantly preparing street vendors, hawkers and shopkeepers not to sell polythene bags, 200 are of the 300 volunteers.
Similar actions are being carried out at the Jathara particular bus stands in Kazipet, Warangal and Hanamkonda.
