US box office collection: ‘Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha’ receives massive response, fails to beat ‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoi’ first weekend record

The US has turned out to be a great marketplace for Nani again as his latest film “Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha” has done tremendous business in its first weekend. But, the Telugu movie has miserably failed to overcome the opening weekend record of his previous movie “Bhale Bhale Magadivoi.”

“Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha” is in the leading position among Indian films in American box office this weekend.

On the opposite end, “Bhale Bhale Magadivoi” was released on 113 screens from which it had brought in Rs 4.8 crore ($ 718,378). While “Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha” was released on more screens than Nani’s preceding movie, it couldn’t overcome Maruthi Dasari’s Telugu movie, which was released in September 2015.

Nevertheless, “Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha” ruled the US box office by defeating Bollywood, Tamil, and other Indian films. Hindi movie “Fitoor” is in the 2nd place by raking in Rs 1.84 crore ($269,085) from 147 screens.

Akshay Kumar’s “Airlift” was played on 35 screens in its fourth weekend as well as the entire business of the picture stands at Rs 12.28 crore ($1,804,937).

Meanwhile, “Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha” has made a decent collection at the national box office.

The estimated worldwide box office collection of “Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha” stands at Rs 10.86 crore.
