Swipe Elite 2 With 4G Support, Android 5.1 Lollipop Launched at Rs. 4,666:
Swipe Technologies has launched a new 4G-empowered smartphone, the Swipe Elite 2, priced at Rs. 4,666. The smartphone is going to be available only via e-commerce web site Flipkart starting Sunday and will soon be available in Black colour.
The company has also declared a preview deal exclusive for Uber taxi riders from October 30 to November 7. But, the Uber exclusive deal is limited to cities like Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Pune. The Swipe Elite 2 becomes the most low-cost 4G smartphone in the nation, taking the mantle from the Lenovo A2010 (Rs. 4,990), the Phicomm Energy 653 that were found lately taking a price tag of Rs 4,999 and ZTE Blade Qlux 4G. Rs. 4,999.
The Android 5.1 Lollipop-established Elite 2 is a double-SIM supporting smartphone that features a 4.5-inch IPS screen with a qHD (540×960 pixels) resolution. The handset is powered by a 1.3GHz quadcore MediaTek central processing unit clubbed with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone contains 8GB of inbuilt storage, which could be expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). The handset also features an 8-megapixel autofocus back camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. A 1900mAh battery backs the Swipe Elite 2.
Connectivity alternatives of the Elite 2 smartphone apart from 4G contain GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot functionality, Bluetooth v4.0, FM radio, Micro-USB 2.0, and GPS/ A-GPS.
