Gopi is taken to mental hospital where a schizophrenic patient thinks she’s her husband’s murderer and throws an object at her. Gopi gets injured and starts bleeding. Peons take Gopi to a shock treatment room and lock the schizophrenic woman into her cell. Gopi pleads that she’s not insane, and her maaji has been kidnapped by Premlatha and intended all this.
