Google Nexus 6P: Users of Smartphone Reportedly Experience Microphone and Camera Malfunctions:
Are the folks you call to your shiny new Nexus 6P saying they can not hear you? A standard issue among early adopters appears to be spotty and poor voice quality – that is the Nexus 6P owner, not the other call party’s voice. During the period of writing several dozen owners around the two websites are reporting very similar when utilizing the speaker phone and issues, both in normal call way. Google representatives say they’re looking into it, and have answered on the official newsgroup.
Based on some unofficial experiment by users, it appears that the difficulty may come from the noise cancellation set up of the phone’s. Some say that this dilemma is fixed by by choice covering the back mic on the Nexus 6P, but others report that the trouble is really caused by it. Across the assorted threads there is hardly any consensus right now, maybe because individuals are experiencing similar but disparate issues. A minumum of one Android Authorities team member is experiencing similar difficulties.
I turned off via construct prop noise cancelling and it fixed it for me. This goes back to nexus 6 and the nexus 5 . I suspect the’ a hardware problem. Google actually must enable a setting for this or use software that is better.
