BCCI Technical panel to think about organising the Duleep Trophy matches with pink ball.

Taking a cue from the success of the very first Day-Night Test in Adelaide this past year, the Tour and Plan Fixtures Committee has recommended to the BCCI Specialized panel to think about organising the Duleep Trophy matches with pink ball.

In a meeting in Mumbai on Tuesday, the Tour and Software Fixtures Committee also discussed various alternatives to bring more fans to Test matches in the forthcoming season, according to a BCCI release.

During the 201617 season India are slated to play a total of 13 Test matches, 10 One-day Internationals and one T20I’s against Bangladesh, New Zealand, England and Australia.

Across the border, Pakistan are also eager on Cricket Australia’s Day-Nighttime Test offer in December 2016 and has also discussed the option of utilizing the pink ball for the closing of the in national Quaid e Azam prize.
