Austria: Teenage Girl Who Fled Country to Join Islamic State Group Is Dead, Reports Say:
After she was found trying to escape from Raqqa, Syria, Sabra Kesinovic, 17, was allegedly killed
After she was found attempting to leave Syria, the group has apparently beaten to death an Austrian adolescent who became a poster girl for the Islamic State.
She appeared widely in Isil propaganda content after leaving her native Vienna to join the group jointly with Sabina Selimovic, a 16-year old buddy.
Both teens were revealed brandishing Kalashnikov rifles, surrounded by cloaked man jihadists and wearing Islamic headbands.
They were also revealed wearing Islamic veils that were complete and pointing towards paradise.
Both Austrian girls are now considered to be dead, after reports Selimovic was killed this past year in fighting in Syria.
Krone Zeitung paper quoted as saying Kesinovic was killed, an unnamed Tunisian girl who lived with the two Austrians in Raqqa.
Selimovic and Kesinovic were both kids of Bosnian refugees who fled from the war in their own country to Austria during the nineties.
Their families reported them lost this past year after they vanished from their houses in Vienna.
They allegedly left a note for their families which read: “Do Not look for us. We’ll serve Allah and we’ll die for him.”
They were followed as travelling on to the area of Adana, close to the border with Syria, and taking a flight to the Turkish capital of Ankara.
It emerged after Kesinovic called her sister from Syria to let her know she was okay, they’d joined Isil.
She apparently wrote residence telling family that she’s had enough of the extreme violence she watched every day and she needed to return.
It’s believed they both wed Isil jihadists in Syria. Selimovic afterwards denied reports she promised she was joyful in Syria, and was pregnant in an exchange of text messages to the magazine Paris Match.
“Here I can actually be free. I am able to practise my faith.
Reports of her passing first emerged this past year from David Scharia, a specialist at the UN security council’s counterterrorism committee.
“We received advice just lately about two 15-year old girls, of Bosnian source, who left Austria,” he said.
It appears that the homicide of Kesinovic described the disappearance.
Authorities have accused a Bosnian Islamic preacher residing of recruiting both girls for Isil in Vienna. He’s denied the accusation.
Identified solely as Mirsad O under Austrian privacy laws, he’s also called Abu Tejda.
He was detained last year over allegations that are individual he was portion of a terrorist financing network.
Both women’s families were warned this past year that the Austrian authorities worried dead one of them.
Neither family has remarked on the most recent reports.
