Around 1,500 Jobs for Youth At Nalgonda Mela

State Energy Minister G. Jagadheesh Reddy(Telangana) said that the combined initiation of Telangana State skill development management, employment generation and promoting mission ‘Mega job mela” helped around 1500 unemployed rural youth across the district to get jobs in private sectors.

The Minister has inaugurated the job mela at the NG College here on Wednesday, Speaking to the media persons on the occasion, he said that after the formation of Telangana State, youth of the soil were getting excellent opportunities in the government and private sector including retail, advertising, sales, pharmacy, nursing, real estate, fabrics, banking and security services, which were coming forward to recruit eligible unemployed rural youth of the district in accordance with their requirement.

Following the statement and broad publicity of departments concerned, about 3200 unemployed youth having educational qualifications from 5th class to degree came for the job mela for settlement in the life. After the verbal interview and certification verification, managements of private companies recruited about 1500 youth of their choice.

He told on one hand; the government was taking all measures to fill-in all vacant places in various sections through TSPSC. On the other hand, conducting job melas to provide employment to the youth of different backgrounds.

He further advised that to be able to shine in forthcoming authorities recruitment, about 1100 chosen aspirants of BC, SC, ST. and Minority will be given free training with accommodation for one month in Devarakonda and Nalagonda to attain their vision of job authorities.

In this program, he is accompanied by the district collector P. Satyanarayana Reddy, SP Vikram Jeet Duggal, ZP Chairman Balu Nayak, MLA Gasdhari Kishore, DRDA project director R. Anjaiah, NG college principal Nagendhar Reddy. Representatives of companies and other dignitaries participated. (NSS)
