2nd Day Box Office Collection(Saturday): Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive & Aligarh
After quite a long time gap, first comedy film of the year Tere Bin Laden: Alive or Dead has been released with many expectations of the crowd. But sadly crowd find it less amusing than its prequel Tere Bin Laden, that was released in the year 2010. The replacing of Ali Zafar with Manish Paul hasn’t proved successful and resulted out very low at the box office. As a result of the initial buzz, nearly average occupancy has been seen by the movie on its first day but received mixed reviews from critics.

On the other hand, critically acclaimed movie Aligarh is getting positive reviews from critics in addition to b-town celebs but striving at the box office to get the crowd. Besides these two notable movies – Bollywood Diaries, Love Shagun, Dhara 302 & Rhythm also have been released, which aren’t getting any favour from the crowd.
On its first day, Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive has seen the occupancy of just 15-20% and minted the amount of 0.54 crore on Indian screens, whereas Aligarh seen just 10-15% of occupancy and minted the amount of 0.31 crore on small screens. On Saturday being partial holiday, Tere Bin Laden 2 has received a little higher response and made 0.73 crores* as its second-day collection and Aligarh received nearly similar as and made 0.35 crores on its first day
